Nourishment (March 24, 2025): Nourishment is to provide yourself with the substances necessary for growth and health. Following the spring solstice last week we are changing seasons. Spring is the season of rebirth and growth. To grow we must support ourselves from a wholistic perspective. Our diet is so much more than the food we consume. It is the people we spend time with, our thoughts, how we move our bodies, the content we consume, and much more. I invite you to pause and think about what your body, mind, and soul are asking for to be in harmony.
What are you doing this week to nourish yourself?
I am going to the climbing gym with friends that support me, having nourishing dinners with my partner (no phones!!), going to yoga classes with teachers I love, and taking a weekend to detoxify my body and prepare for the warmer months of growth ahead!

Forgiveness (March 17, 2025) – forgiveness is a deliberate decision to release resentment. Holding grudges makes us prisoners of the past rather than people of the present. We must have compassion and understanding for ourselves that we are not perfect beings. Making mistakes and the unknown is what makes this life beautiful.
Forgiving ourselves is equally as important as forgiving otherers. If we hold on to a feeling of bitterness around ourselves, it carries through our lives. When we release resentment, we are free, and the world will open up to us.
Live in the present, forgive and be free.
What are you letting go of this week?

VITALITY (March 10, 2025): Vitality is feeling alive and having the capacity to grow and develop. After the winter months of rest and hard work we are ready to bud allowing ourselves to leave the bad in the past, take what is good with us, and invite change in healthy places! New energy is blossoming!!
Set fear aside this week and challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone. No matter how big or small, you will feel a new lease for life.

LOVE (March 3, 2025): with February behind us I want to emphasize the importance of keeping love at the forefront of our lives. Spread love – smile at someone, say thank you to the train operator on your way to work. Be gracious – ask your barista how they are doing – and mean it!! Live life with intention and the desire to fill the world with joy. Lead with love
What brightens your heart? Tell someone you love them and why they brighten your life!

DETERMINATION (February 24, 2025): after completing yoga teacher training, I am inspired. Not only to teach but also to spread the values I have learned. Primarily patience, enjoying the journey along the way, and listening to my inner voice as a guide. The great part about self-exploration is it is a journey that keeps going and is always worth taking the ride.
In which areas of life are you feeling determined?

BALANCE (January 17, 2025): Yoga is the balance of strength and softness. When reflecting on my life, I try to incorporate this combination of taking action and taking it slow. Balancing mindfulness and peace with movement and excitement. The main takeaway is listen to your body and you will find the answer.
What aspects of your life can you harness strength and where can you find softness?

JOY (January 20, 2025): Joy versus happiness. For a long time, I thought they were synonymous. Joy is a continuous feeling stemming from community and helping others. Joy is infinite and lasting. Be a person that looks for joy in life and helps others create joy.
Where can you find joy? Where can you create joy? Think big and think small. Think of the people in your life.
